Swinerton is pleased to announce the promotion of Francisco Sanchez to Project Executive overseeing many special projects for Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Trained in architecture and employed by Swinerton since 2006, Francisco provides oversight of the financial outcome and success of each project. He is the primary client contact, with the ultimate responsibility of ensuring their satisfaction. He works closely with representatives from the client and oversight committees and boards to meet their specified project goals. Client and project partner satisfaction are his key goals and he is well versed in many markets inclusive of the financial, entertainment, hospitality, retail, adaptive reuse, and seismic retrofit markets, among others.

Swinerton is pleased to announce the promotion of Jessica Drake as Project Executive overseeing Residential and Hospitality projects for the Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Jessica has been in the Architecture, Construction, and Engineering industry for 16 years. She earned her bachelor’s degree from USC in Architecture with a minor in Construction Management and Planning. She is also a LEED Accredited Professional dedicated to the incorporation of sustainable building practices in all her projects.

Jessica has successfully completed projects in a wide range of markets, including high-rise office; K-12 and higher education; luxury residential; retail and mixed-use; governmental; mass transit; public safety; hospitality; sports facilities; and tenant improvements.

As an Associate DBIA Professional, many of Jessica’s projects have been performed under the design-build delivery model. Her background in architecture has directly contributed to her success on these projects. Several of her most complex projects include 9200 Wilshire Condominiums; Great Park Ice and FivePoint Arena; and Pepperdine University Payson Library Renovation.

Jessica is a strong proponent in giving back to the communities in which she lives and works. She enjoys mentoring as a Big Sister in Big Brothers Big Sisters, fundraising for The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation while completing an Olympic Triathlon, and continues to be an instructor for Swinerton’s Project Engineer Training Program. When she’s not at work, she enjoys fun activities outdoors with her two-year-old son, husband, and dog including paddleboarding, biking, and traveling.

Jon has 30+ years of construction project management and commissioning experience, with a focus on the California biopharmaceutical, semiconductor, and healthcare markets.

Swinerton is pleased to announce the addition of Keith Law as Project Executive overseeing the Residential and Hospitality Markets for Los Angeles and Orange Counties. A graduate of Purdue University, and in the construction industry since the early 2000s, he has served in multiple roles prior to joining Swinerton, most recently as Director of Business Development. He is excited about continuing to build on his relationships in the Design and Construction markets to ensure our clients’ peace of mind.

Swinerton is pleased to announce the promotion of Maria Blair as Project Executive overseeing Higher Education market for the Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Maria has been in the Architecture, Construction, and Engineering industry for 17 years, all of which have been spent with Swinerton. She earned her bachelor’s degree from USC in Civil Engineering. She is also a LEED Accredited Professional dedicated to the incorporation of sustainable building practices in all her projects.

Maria has successfully completed projects in a wide range of markets, most notably in the higher education and aviation fields. One of her most successful projects was the LAX Delta Air Lines Landside Redevelopment, which added a new 100,000-square-foot level atop the existing terminal building. She has also completed numerous projects for the California State University system, including over a dozen at Cal State Long Beach.

Maria believes in supporting the next generation of talent in the industry and serves as a leader in the Los Angeles Chapter of the ACE Mentorship program. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her five-year-old son, who will be starting kindergarten in the fall. She also enjoys baking for her family and her project teams.
