Braun sold his company, Ithaca, last year for $1.05 billion to South Korea-based HYBE, thus monetizing his ownership while remaining at the helm of his personal management and production company in Hollywood. HYBE is at the epicenter of Korea’s K-pop music phenomenon. Included in the sale is SB Projects, which is Ithaca’s artist management, entertainment and media company. Braun’s clients include Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, J Balvin, Ashley Graham and Tori Kelly. Braun has a good-guy reputation in Hollywood’s sharp-elbows personal manager/producer sector, although he had a public dustup with Taylor Swift when her sound recordings were sold years ago.
