Nichols co-founder MaC Venture Capital in 2019 with former Washington mayor Adrian Fenty, talent agent Charles D. King and entrepreneur and investor Michael Palank. The firm makes seed stage investments in budding technology startups capitalizing on shifts in consumer behavior. The firm formed out of a merger between M Ventures and Cross Culture Ventures, which Nichols co-founded in 2015. MaC already has nearly 200 companies in its portfolio and last year announced that it has raised $110 million for its inaugural fund. Before starting Cross Culture Ventures and MaC, Nichols was investment director at Intel Capital. He is Kauffman Fellow and the recipient of MVMT50’s SXSW 2018 Innovator of the Year award.
