Co-Chief Executive, Rexford Industrial Realty Inc.

Frankel is the co-chief executive of Brentwood-based Rexford Industrial Realty Inc. along with Howard Schwimmer. The two have grown the company drastically. In 2021, the company acquired 53 properties for $1.9 billion and sold five properties for $59.3 million, up from $1.2 billion worth of acquisitions the year before. Frankel has been a co-chief executive officer and on the board of Rexford since 2013. He previously served as the chief financial officer of Rexford Industrial Realty and Management Inc. and managing partner of Rexford Industrial and Rexford Sponsor. Prior to Rexford, Frankel ran C3, a private equity subsidiary of Comcast Corp. He has also worked with LEK Consulting and at Melcher’s and Co.
