Jose Sarabia is an audit partner in the Deloitte & Touche Financial Services group based in Los Angeles, with 23 years of experience. In that time, he has served some of the firm’s most prominent financial services clients. Sarabia has served large public and private clients in the asset management and securities industries. He has extensive experience auditing investment funds, including mutual funds, business development companies, hedge funds, fund of funds, private equity funds, and venture capital funds as well as investment advisers and broker-dealers. In addition to financial statement audits, Sarabia also has extensive experience with examinations of internal controls over financial reporting.
Sarabia is a mentor and coach to firm practitioners and members of the community, and is a frequent speaker to diverse business students a local community colleges and universities. He has served on the boards of Para Los Niños as Walden School.
