U.S. chain store sales rose in the third week of June, as Father’s Day, graduations and warmer weather drove sales, a report said on Tuesday.
Sales at major retailers rose by 4.1 percent on a year-over-year basis for the week ended June 18. Sales in June to-date were down 0.1 percent compared with the same span in May, said Redbook Research, an independent company.
