David R. Nelson, MD is medical director of Barlow Respiratory Hospital and a board-certified Pulmonologist. He has devoted his entire career to Barlow Respiratory Hospital, first joining the staff in 1991. As a hospital leader, Dr. Nelson serves on the Medical Executive Committee, and the Research, Quality Forum, Credentials and Critical Care Committees. Beyond his service to the hospital, he serves as an educator, preparing the next generation of physicians as an associate professor of clinical medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and clinical instructor in medicine, Department of Medicine, UCLA School of Medicine.
