Having been a practicing attending for seven years as a pediatric radiologist at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Dr. Amit Sura has served as one of the leading experts in pediatric imaging with a research focus in quality improvement, medical education, and various pediatric pathologies. He also works as a teacher and mentor at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, teaching the Business in Medicine selective, serving as a coach to first year medical students, and being an advisor to students who are interested in the combined MD/MBA program. Currently Dr. Sura has served on the Society of Pediatric Radiology diversity committee.
