Angeline Chen helps clients develop and implement strategies to address complex immigration matters, including obtaining family-based or employment-based permanent residence and temporary work visas. She assists permanent residents in becoming US citizens, including application preparation and representation at interviews with the US Citizenship and Immigration Services. She also represents victims of certain crimes and victims of domestic violence. Â
In her immigration practice, Chen has successfully represented individuals who were undocumented and victims of domestic violence by their US Citizen spouses in receiving their permanent residency. Â One individual was a male who was emotionally and psychologically abused by his wife and the other was a female who was a victim of severe physical abuse by her husband who was an alcoholic. Â They both have their permanent residency cards and are finally independent from their abusive spouses.
