Lori Rock is the partner in charge of tax services for Marcum LLP’s Los Angeles office. Rock made partner in September 2017 and has been a mentor and role model for young accounting professionals at the firm. She is a frequent presenter at Marcum’s annual tax updates which are put on for clients and service providers. She is often called upon to speak on various tax issues and has become the go-to partner for clients and colleagues with complex questions.
A key to her success has been Rock’s ability to balance a heavy workload and still find time to develop business and bring in major clients – all while raising two young children at home. Rock’s success in her professional career while also balancing her personal life is a true inspiration for our younger female staff members and shows that it is possible to “have it all.”
