Jeffrey Hammer is a partner in the firm’s Business Litigation practice group and a highly accomplished litigator with a strong record of success in complex commercial litigation and pre-dispute resolutions, including significant labor and employment matters. Hammer also regularly negotiates separation agreements on behalf of employers, counsels clients on internal policies regarding employees and contractors, oversees investigations regarding alleged employee and contractor misconduct, and represents employers before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Hammer recently achieved a complete arbitration victory on behalf of a group of former senior executives in a dispute with their former employer, a subsidiary of a Fortune 500 company. The arbitration panel found that the company wrongfully withheld tens of millions of dollars owed to the executives.
