Ryan Barncastle is a partner in Barnes & Thornburg’s Los Angeles office, co-chair of the firm’s Private Equity practice and a member of its Management Committee. He represents private equity funds, independent sponsors, family offices, institutional investors, lenders and strategic buyers in corporate, finance and securities transactions, with a focus on middle-market M&A, structured financings and private credit across the healthcare, technology, consumer products and manufacturing sectors.
Barncastle led the Barnes & Thornburg team that represented Health Intelligence Company, LLC (BHI), and its equity owners in the sale of substantially all of BHI’s assets to the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. He also advised Sporos Capital Partners, a private investment firm focused on emerging industries, on strategic investments in Quantum Space, LLC.
