Irvine public charter service JetSuiteX announced Thursday it is adding flights from Burbank Hollywood Airport to Oakland International Airport starting in mid-November.
JetSuiteX will serve Oakland with three-times-daily round-trips every day except Saturday. The service will use Embraer E135 aircraft reconfigured for 30 business class-style seats. Ticket prices start at $129 each way, including up to two pieces of baggage and complimentary cocktails and snacks.
As a public charter service, JetSuiteX says it combines the benefits of the private ground experience – including the ability to arrive less than 30 minutes before departure and avoiding most of the lines associated with commercial air travel – with the scheduled service, affordable price and by-the-seat booking of commercial air travel.
Besides the Oakland service starting next month, JetSuiteX has scheduled flights into two other Bay Area airports: San Jose International Airport, which started in August, and Concord’s Buchanan Field Airport.
