EVConnect Backs Australian Charging Network; Riot Games Finalist for IBC Award; Faraday Future Employees Flee to Rivian
Electric vehicle charging operator EVConnect recently agreed to back Australian charging provider Evie Networks, according to Socaltech. The type of support and amount of funding downtown-based EVConnect will provide was not disclosed, but EVConnect joined the St Baker Energy Innovation Fund and will help Evie Networks install more than 42 fast charging sites across Australia.
Some Faraday Future Employees Leave for Rivian
The Verge reports that Rivian, a Michigan-based electric vehicle startup, is steadily recruiting talent from Gardena-based electric vehicle designer Faraday Future Inc. So far roughly 50 former Faraday employees have been hired at Rivian.
Riot Games Shortlisted for Award
Sawtelle-based Riot Games Inc. is one of the finalists for an International Broadcasting Corp. Innovation Award, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Riot was nominated for its remote production of the League of Legends World Championships, which were held in Seoul but produced in Los Angeles.
