Price founded Insomniac Games in 1994 as Extreme Software. The company long operated as one of the most visible and successful independent developers in the video game industry, responsible for popular series like “Spyro” and “Ratchet and Clank.” Sony Interactive Entertainment acquired the studio in 2019 and since then has played a key role in drawing gamers to Sony’s PlayStation consoles. In addition to leading Insomniac, Price also is on the board of the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences.
