Riot Games is the developer of the wildly popular esport “League of Legends,” and its games attract over 180 million players monthly. Laurent, who was born and educated in France, joined Riot in 2009 and became chief executive in 2017. Under his leadership, the company established an innovative professional franchise model for “League of Legends” and released subsequent hit esports titles “Wild Rift” and “Valorant.” Before joining Riot, Laurent led business development and licensing for GOA, the game division of France Telecom (now Orange S.A.).
