Chief Executive, Triller

De Silva took over as chief executive at Century City-based Triller Inc. in 2021 amid a streak of major acquisition deals for the company. These purchases, which include livestream music platform Verzuz and pay-per-view sports streaming service Fite, have expanded Triller’s user base and broadened the scope of the company’s social media strategy. They also included Amplify.AI, which De Silva co-founded in 2016. De Silva was previously a strategic advisor to Opera Software ASA and chief executive of Opera Mediaworks Inc., the largest subsidiary of Opera Software. He currently sits on the board of Hydrophilix, Nanotech Energy and Silq.
