Czinger founded his eponymous performance vehicles brand in 2019 with an aim to redefine what automotive manufacturing will look like in the future. The chassis of the Czinger supercar is made with 3D printing and the rest of the car uses what the company calls state of the art additive manufacturing-driven processes, automated assembly, and in-house performance materials. Since the unveiling of the 21C hypercar in 2020, the production version of the vehicle has broken multiple track records. Czinger’s parent company, Divergent, has more than 500 patents in additive manufacturing and 3D printing. Divergent announced in August its collaboration with Aston Martin to build the DBT22’s subframe, and has automotive, aerospace and defense projects in production.
