Co-Founder, Managing Partner, Mucker Capital
Rannala and William Hsu launched Mucker Capital in 2011, when few other firms were focused on funding and accelerating early-stage startups in the Los Angeles area. Since then, the firm has built an impressive portfolio of investments, largely in Southern California-based companies, including Glendale-based ServiceTitan Inc. and Sawtelle-based Bridg Inc., which was acquired last year by Cardlytics Inc. for $579 million. Before launching Mucker, Rannala served as a group manager at eBay Inc., a vice president of product at TripAdvisor Inc. and a seed investor at Harrison Metal Capital.
