Co-Founder and Principal, CIM Group

Shemesh is a principal of the CIM Group, the company he co-founded with Shaul Kuba and Richard Ressler in 1994. Shemesh has built the firm’s real estate, infrastructure and debt platforms. He serves on CIM’s investment and real asset management committees. Shemesh is responsible for CIM’s relationships with strategic institutions and oversees teams that are key for acquisitions, portfolio management and internal and external communication. The company’s portfolio includes $32.6 billion in real estate, infrastructure and credit assets in 135 qualified urban communities. It has seven U.S. offices, as well as locations in Tokyo and London. Prior to CIM, Shemesh co-founded Dekel Development, which builds commercial and multifamily properties in Los Angeles.
