President, Cushman & Wakefield Inc.

Since October 2021, McDonald has served as Cushman & Wakefield’s president, leading the Americas and Asia Pacific regions and overseeing the firm’s global marketing, communications and research. Prior to becoming president, he was the chief executive for the Americas region, the previous president of the Americas West Region and former regional managing principal of Southern California. He also serves on the boards of the Cushman & Wakefield and Greystone joint venture, California Hospital Medical Center and the Los Angeles Coalition. McDonald began his career at the Beijing-based private equity firm ASIMCO. In 1999, he returned to the United States and joined the Cushman Realty Corp., which merged with Cushman & Wakefield in 2001.
