The 1,650-square-foot store will sell ready-to-wear apparel, including jeans, as well as footwear and accessories, according to the downtown-based company.
Jonny Saven, chief executive of L’Agence, said that the time was right for the brand to open its Beverly Hills store due to market success with ready-to-wear clothing and jeans, along with revenue growth.
“The location will capture both the domestic and international shopper, where we are seeing a strong appetite for the brand,” Saven said. “In addition, the store will introduce new product categories to our consumers.”
The space was designed by L’Agence co-founder Jeff Rudes and architect Paul Bennett as a Parisian facade with an open floorplan that frames the clothing collection.
“The Beverly Hills store embodies a glamorous look to project the beauty and femininity of L’Agence. It’s all about the way we make her feel,” said Tara Rudes Dann, fashion director for L’Agence .Â
The company’s items are also sold at 300 retail locations in the U.S. and Canada, including Nieman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman.
L’Agence was founded in 2008 by Rudes, Margaret Maldonado and Ron Herman.Â
