A new luxury apartment complex is coming to Torrance. Newport Beach-based multifamily developer Intracorp Homes has begun construction on Gable House Apartments, a 218-unit luxury apartment complex in the Del Amo Business District of Torrance.
Intracorp Homes received a construction loan for an undisclosed sum from Bentall Green Oak for the development.
It will be one of the first institutional-quality, multifamily assets to be built in Torrance in many years, according to Intracorp.
“In an inflationary environment of increased interest rates and rising development costs has made the process difficult,” Brad Perozzi, president of Intracorp Homes for Southern California, said. “We are grateful that our strong relationship with Bentall Green Oak has provided us with the ability to move forward with this project for the Torrance community.”
The five-story development will boast roughly 12,000 square feet of ground retail space, with floorplans ranging from studios to two-bedroom apartment units. Luxury amenities include a sky deck with a swimming pool and spa lounge, a fitness and wellness center, and coworking space to foster community.
The mixed-use development will replace a local bowling alley, Gable House Bowl. Of the 218 apartment units offered, 17 will be designated affordable. It will also include 460 parking spaces and 28 for electric vehicles.
“The City of Torrance is excited for the new Gable House Apartments mixed-use development coming to Torrance,” said Torrance Mayor George Chen.
Leasing is anticipated to begin in spring 2026 with the first move-ins starting that summer.
