Under new Chief Executive David Kramer, Beverly Hills-based United Talent Agency is growing its team across the filmed entertainment and creators divisions – highlighting an increased need for all-in-one expertise in a shifting industry.
Seven agents will join the roster in the creators leadership team: Beth Hatchett, Ike Zhang, Nicole Lonner, Rebecca Bibb, Sarah Mathews, Scarlett Perlman and Shelby Schenkman. They will help accelerate the agency’s growth in sports creators and expand its New York and U.K. operations. The agency said its creators division tripled revenue over the last five years and increased its U.K. footprint sixfold since 2023.
Since launching in 2006, it has represented various top-grossing influencers, such as Emma Chamberlain and Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast. The expansion followed an announcement this month to restructure its filmed entertainment segment, tapping Matt Rice as president and creating a filmed entertainment board.
Being “streamlined” and “future-focused” is the goal, according to the release. The agency stated that the restructure would unify leadership across its motion picture, TV and talent divisions to deliver “unrivaled seamless client representation.”
Adding leadership
Besides Rice, the division also welcomed Allan Haldeman, Blair Kohan, Jay Gassner and Julien Thuan as managing partners.
“UTA has never been a place that waits for change – we anticipate where the industry is going and build for what comes next,” Kramer said in the Oct.1 statement. “As the business evolves and film and television increasingly converge, this team positions us to lead that evolution, unlock new possibilities for our clients and bring the full power of UTA to everyone we represent.”
