Hollywood manager Vincent Cirrincione, who has represented stars including Halle Berry and Taraji P. Henson, has shut down his management agency in Hollywood following allegations that he sexually harassed aspiring black actresses over a period of 20 years.

The news, reported on Feb. 5 by Deadline Hollywood, the Washington Post and other sources, was confirmed in a call to the agency. A spokeswoman said there would be no further statement on the closure.

The Washington Post reported last week that nine women of color had accused Cirrincione, who is white, of dangling Berry’s and Henson’s success in front of them as he pressed them for sex.

The women also reportedly said Cirrincione had used his power to prey on young women of color who were trying launch careers in a competitive industry, demanding sex as a condition for representing them.

The Post said it had since heard from 12 additional women, three of whom are white, who alleged that Cirrincione had made sexually inappropriate advances toward them beginning in 1989.

When notified of the new allegations, the Post quotes Cirrincione as saying, “I apologize for my bad behavior. It was never my intention to disrespect anyone.”
