In a bid to further its reach into the Latino community, LATV Networks is partnering with advertising and media company Entravision.
LATV, which is minority owned and operated, has a content hub that can be streamed online through its website or via the LATV application. The hub’s content includes Latino culture news, talk shows, comedy series and sports programming among other things.
Entravision shared in a statement that it would accelerate LATV’s presence through advanced data technology and multi-channel distribution for the network’s original content. With the help of Entravision, the network’s content will be expanded on streaming platforms such as Pluto TV, STIR, VIX and Peacock, among others.
“Entravision and LATV Networks will approach new sales initiatives with customized incentives to provide first-to-market omni-channel offerings as well as open cross-promotion sales and distribution opportunities to advertisers,” Entravision said in a statement.
Entravision will have the opportunity to add on to a portfolio that includes 49 television stations. The Santa Monica-based company is no stranger to the Latino market, as it is the largest affiliate group of the Univision and UniMás television networks. Entravision also manages 46 primarily Spanish-language radio stations.
The partnership will also produce a connected television (CTV) offering with more than 5,000 hours of content and digital video content designed to expand LATV’s video marketplace across Latinx, the LGBTQ+ community and Afro-Latinos.
