Cinépolis Premieres at Hollywood Park

Just in time for Barbenheimer, Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas has opened an IMAX theater at Hollywood Park next to SoFi Stadium, the first cinema to open in Inglewood in nearly 30 years.

Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas Inglewood IMAX, L.A.’s first dine-in IMAX, has 12 laser-projection screens – including one IMAX screen – and houses 1,236 reclining leather seats. The cinema is the first of the sports and entertainment destinations to welcome guests to Hollywood Park, a residential and retail district being built by Stanley Kroenke, owner of the Los Angeles Rams.

Cinépolis, which is known for its luxury experience, features a full food and beverage menu. Ticket prices range from $9 to $19 depending on the day of the week and showtime.

According to a joint press release put out by Cinépolis, IMAX and Hollywood Park, “The new location is among the first theaters in the world to offer in-theater dining and IMAX with laser, an unparalleled state-of-the-art moviegoing experience that delivers crystal-clear IMAX laser projection and next-generation IMAX precision sound to transport moviegoers into blockbuster films like never before.”

Along with the theater, Cinépolis debuted an open-air lounge and sports bar.

“We could not ask for a better partner to open Hollywood Park’s retail district than Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas, one of the world’s leading movie theater operators,” said Jason Gannon, managing director of SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park. “From the beginning, our local community identified the movie theater as being an important component of the Hollywood Park project.”

Spanning nearly 300 acres, Hollywood Park is the largest urban mixed-use mega-development under construction in the Western United States. It will continue to open in phases.

Retail coming soon includes food and drink vendors such as Antojitos Martin; Grilled Fraiche; Red Bay Coffee; Smize Dream; and Three Weavers.
