Silvus Technologies Inc. has named Jeffrey Lassiter as its new chief financial officer.

The Westwood wireless communications products manufacturer to the military, law enforcement and first responders said that Lassiter brings to Silvus financial leadership and a deep understanding of advanced communications engineering.

He replaces Eduardo Iniguez, who had been named as Silvus’s finance chief in November 2023.

In his new role at Silvus, Lassiter will drive the company’s overall financial strategy, leading its budgeting and planning, accounting, cash flow, strategic M&A activity, and capital management operations.

Silvus counting on Lassiter’s experience in technology

Babak Daneshrad, Silvus’ founder and chief executive, said that Lassiter’s blend of financial expertise, technical knowledge and proven leadership makes him an ideal fit for the company.

“His understanding of both communications technology and the financial landscape will be instrumental as we continue to drive product innovation and company growth, expanding our reach in the global tactical communications market,” Daneshrad said in a statement.

“Silvus Technologies is at the forefront of solving the toughest communications problems on the planet,” Lassiter said in a statement.

Prior to joining the company, Lassiter served as chief financial officer for 4Wall Entertainment in Las Vegas and served before that as chief financial officer at SolAero Holdings Inc. in Albuquerque, New Mexico, later acquired by Long Beach rocket launch company Rocket Lab USA Inc.

He served in similar positions at Alliance Spacesystems LLC, a manufacturer and designer of high-performance composite structures for the space industry in Los Alamitos and Integral Aerospace a producer of metallic and composite parts for military, space and commercial systems in Santa Ana.
