Washington law firm ArentFox Schiff last month moved its downtown office into a brand-new space in the 555 S. Flower St. tower.
The new 43rd-floor office is set to accommodate 115 attorneys and support staff. The local operation of the national law firm includes automotive, cannabis, corporate and securities, financial restructuring and bankruptcy, labor and employment, and health care among its practice groups.
The office features a wide variety of technologies that facilitate collaboration with other ArentFox Schiff locations and its clients.
“Our new office space will take us to a new level of collaboration,” Aaron Jacoby, the firm’s L.A. managing partner, said in a statement. “The cutting-edge design brings the office of the future to the present – with an array of technological, aesthetic and indoor/outdoor features that are unlike anything you’ll find in another law firm workspace.”
Those amenities include a conference room with equipment for video conferencing, common spaces and an outdoor work area, office setups to accommodate a hybrid working schedule and production spaces for podcasting, videocasting, webinars and virtual court hearings.
The space, which covers about 30,000 square feet and represents a downsizing of about 20,000 square feet from the prior location, was designed by Culver City-based Donaldson + Partners.
“Our goal was to break away from traditional office design to create a space that encourages connection, collaboration, and an indoor/outdoor aesthetic uniquely available in L.A.,” said Mark Hershman, managing partner of Donaldson + Partners, in a statement.
ArentFox Schiff’s prior downtown office was in the Gas Company Tower, located at 555 W. Fifth St.
