In 2010, Zampella co-founded Respawn Entertainment, which has published popular titles such as “Titan Fall” and “Apex Legends,” with Jason West. The company was sold in 2017 to Electronic Arts for a reported $151 million cash and $164 million in equity. Prior to Respawn, Zampella co-founded “Call of Duty” developer Infinity Ward. Infinity Ward was sold to Activision Blizzard Inc. in 2003, at which time Zampella and West left. Respawn has offices in both Chatsworth and Vancouver, British Columbia, and announced last year that it will open a new branch in Madison, Wisconsin.
