What’s the best advice you ever got?
First, authenticity will always be your superpower. Second, gratitude is always best experienced in the present moment, so make sure to slow down and prioritize “paying it forward” before racing ahead.
What’s your favorite movie, all-time, and in any category?
Choosing an all-time favorite movie is like trying to pick a favorite child. That said, it’s a toss-up between “Crazy Stupid Love” or “Definitely Maybe.” Anything with Denzel (Washington) and Julia Roberts is comfort food. I’ve also been a long-time fan of the quirky brilliance of Wes Anderson’s films.
What was your first car?
This is the least-exciting answer ever, but my first wheels were a white Acura Integra hatchback. Honestly, I think it’s less about the car, and more about what it enabled me to do. That time in my life was a total blur – I went on a lot of adventures in that car.
Would you like to have it back?
I’m a bit more practical these days. I’m more into a good hybrid sports utility that I can take on road trips into the mountains or desert.
What’s the best thing about living in Los Angeles?
I’m a huge sports fan, and L.A. is home to some of the best sports teams in the world and incredible entertainment venues. I also love the fact that we are surrounded by beaches, mountain ranges and desert landscapes.
Where else can you surf and ski on the same day?
Finally, I think the diversity of people, food and culture make it a lifestyle like no other.
