Nichols is the co-founder and managing general partner at MaC Venture Capital, a seed-stage venture capital firm that invests in technology startups that are capitalizing on shifts in consumer behavior. Some of his current and previous portfolio companies include Blavity, FaZe Clan, Gimlet Media LLC and Thrive Market. He previously co-founded Cross Culture Ventures and currently serves on the board of the Kauffman Fellows.

Thoughts become things, so be mindful of your thoughts and your mindset.
What’s your favorite movie, all time and in any category?
“Coming to America.” It never gets old and is hilarious.
What’s at the top of your bucket list?
I would love to take a full year to travel to various beautiful locations around the world and spend substantial time in each.
What’s the best thing about living in Los Angeles?
I love the ability to change scenery and see the oceanside, hilltop views, city views, valleys and wildlife. I also love how L.A. has both fast-paced city living and suburban life; you can experience both without traveling very far.
