Callow serves as the chief executive of Swimply Inc., a platform that connects homeowners and customers for short-term rentals of amenities such as pools and tennis courts. It recently started offering full-home rentals. Callow replaced founder Bunim Laskin as the company’s chief executive at the end of last year after serving as chief operating officer for about eight months. He previously held leadership roles at tech companies such as Google LLC, Youtube and West Hollywood-based Tinder.
What’s the best advice you ever got?
Get up early, move your body and your mind as early as you can – sets you up for the rest of the chaos of life.
What’s your favorite movie, all time and in any category?
“Rain Man.”
What’s at the top of your bucket list?
More time back home in New Zealand, the only other place outside of L.A. where I can have the best of oceans and mountains.
What’s the best thing about living in Los Angeles?
There is this inherent positivity that today is probably going to be better than yesterday. Definitely to do with the sunshine and the effect it has on our subconscious.
