LA500 2024: Les Snead

General Manager, Los Angeles Rams

Snead has been the Los Angeles Rams’ general manager since 2012. He was at the team when it moved from St. Louis to L.A. Under his leadership, the team won the Super Bowl LVI, defeating the Cincinnati Bengals at its home, SoFi Stadium, in Inglewood. The team also had five consecutive winning seasons and reached the postseason four of the last six years, with Super Bowl appearances twice. Snead has signed a contract with the team through 2026. Prior to joining the team, Snead spent 13 seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, holding a variety of roles including director of player personnel. The Falcons played in one Super Bowl during the time and two NFC Championships. He previously spent three seasons in the pro scouting department of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Snead is a former football player; he was a tight end for Auburn from 1992-93 and played a role in the team’s perfect season in 1993. Snead is on the advisory board of Gamebreaker, a soft shell headgear company and serves as a board member on the Curry School Foundation Board at UVA.
