Wainwright is responsible for leading East End’s West Coast operations and its production studio platform. In his role as managing partner, he sources value-add office and residential opportunities in the Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle markets, as well as studio opportunities throughout North America and Europe. Before joining East End, Wainwright was a senior vice president at KBS.
What’s the best advice you ever got?
“It’s not about what you say, it’s more about what you do and how you are day in and day out.”
What’s your favorite movie, all time and in any category?
“Chariots of Fire.” The soundtrack stuck with me for years!
What’s at the top of your bucket list?
To someday sit in a car with no steering wheel and be taken where I need to go!
What was your first car?
My dad’s 15-year-old Jeep Cherokee.
Like to have it back?
No. The transmission died around 150,000 miles, but survived many fun road trips.
What’s the best thing about living in Los Angeles?
Being surrounded by forward thinking, creative people with tons of optimism.
