Founder, BLVD Hospitality
Blanchard founded BLVD Hospitality in 2008 with Nicolo Rusconi. He has been responsible for many of Los Angeles’ top boutique and lifestyle hotels, from Soho Warehouse to The Hoxton to CitizenM, the first high-rise modular construction hotel ever approved in Los Angeles. The company is perhaps best known for the renovation of the United Artists’ Building and Theatre and the Ace Hotel in downtown. Blanchard is also the cofounder of Chicas Tacos.
What’s the best advice you ever got?
From my mother: “You can do anything. Never stop. Even when you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, you will find the light.”
