McMillan has been an industrial real estate services broker in Los Angeles for 34 years. As of February, he had closed more than 1,580 transactions totaling more than $6.34 billion. McMillan and his team joined Newmark in 2016 after 24 years at Cushman & Wakefield.
What’s the best advice you ever got?
Early is on time, on time is late, late is unacceptable.
What’s your favorite movie, all time and in any category?
“Last of the Mohicans.” Anytime it’s on, I’m stuck watching it until whenever it ends.
What’s at the top of your bucket list?
I’ve had quite a few friends pass recently that are my age, so I’m done with bucket lists. I’m just trying to make the most of every day. I’m lucky enough to wake up.
What’s the best thing about living in Los Angeles?
I love Los Angeles! Born and raised. There’s way too much to list. The culture, the weather, the beach, the mountains, the Westside, the Eastside, the food variety (both high end and secret shacks), concerts, clubs, the Dodgers/Kings/Rams/Lakers. There are so many great things about Los Angeles.
