Nadji joined Calabasas-based Marcus & Millichap in 1996 as vice president of research and advisory services and was appointed chief executive in 2016. He lead the company’s 2013 IPO as chief strategy officer.
What’s the best advice you ever got?
To develop a plan and probability scenarios for everything before jumping in.
What’s your favorite movie, all time and in any category?
“Back to the Future” series.
What’s at the top of your bucket list?
Getting involved in U.S. foreign policy and international affairs years from now as my career goes into a less operationally intense phase.
What was your first car?
A used 1975 Oldsmobile Starfire. A very, very sporty powerful and truly American car I really enjoyed driving for many years. Like to have it back? I have tried to find one and restore it, but no luck so far. I wish I had kept it.
