Porter is a founding principal and past chair at Cresa, a real estate advisory firm that specializes in corporate office and industrial tenant representation with over 59 offices in North America. His clients include a number of national and local accounts, including the County of Los Angeles. Porter has been a broker for more than 40 years and completed nearly 1 million square feet of office leases in 2023.

“Airplane” was a pretty classic comedy movie.
What’s at the top of your bucket list?
More travel in Europe with my wife.
What was your first car?
A used 1960 Plymouth Valiant with 60,000 miles on it when I bought it for $300 while at Stanford.
Like to have it back?
Not really. It served me well for another 65,000 miles before I sold it for $25, but I prefer my BMW now.
What’s the best thing about living in Los Angeles?
The weather is awesome and living close to the ocean is wonderful.
