Sitrick is a go-to guy for crisis public relations. His communications agency also works litigation support and corporate communications and counsels startups. Sitrick cautions that hiding behind “no comment” puts “you in a free-fire zone.” Clients have included Activision Blizzard, Guggenheim Partners, Los Angeles Dodgers, MGM, NBCUniversal, Sony Pictures, labor unions and talent agencies. Individual clients have included Erin Brockovich, the late Kobe Bryant, Bill Gross, Hulk Hogan, Paris Hilton and the cast of “The Simpsons.” Sitrick’s Brentwood-based agency was founded in 1989. In January 2022, he was named to Lawdragon’s Legal Consulting Hall of Fame. Prior to forming his firm, Sitrick served as Senior Vice President – Communications for Wickes Companies Inc. A member of that company’s senior management group, Sitrick was the architect of Wickes’ Chapter 11 communications programs. He also directed the company’s communications efforts through a series of takeover attempts and defenses, litigation issues, a major product liability problem and numerous other critical matters. Sitrick has served on the boards of JAKKS Pacific, APP Pharmaceutical Cos. and Abraxis BioScience. He is also a trustee of the Saint John’s Healthcare Foundation in Santa Monica and on the board for the Center for Justice and Human Dignity. He holds a B.S. degree in business administration with a major in journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park.
