After starting her career as a senior vice president of production at New Line Cinema in Burbank, Donna Langley moved on to Universal Pictures where she has been for the past 23 years. There she has climbed the ranks of executive leadership from president of production to co-chair and then chair of Universal Studios. She then was promoted to chair of the Universal Filmed Entertainment Group. Last year she was elevated again to the chair of NBCUniversal Studio Group. In that role, Langley continues to leverage her longstanding relationships with content creators to unlock a cross-portfolio creative strategy including programming, distribution and marketing. In 2022, Langley was personally named among Business Insider’s “10 People Transforming Business.” She is the recipient of the 2023 UCLA’s Game Changer Award; and the 2018 Producers Guild of America’s Milestone Award.
