Allen can plot his entertainment media company expansion from his exclusive Paradise Cove enclave in Malibu, where he bought a $100 million mansion on 3.5 acres in October 2022. His solely owned Allen Media Group in Los Angeles bolted on Black News Channel, which was acquired for $12 million out of bankruptcy in July 2022. AMG owns 27 network-affiliated broadcast TV channels. A former standup comic, Allen arrived as a media operator by buying the Weather Channel in 2018.
