Chief Content Officer, Netflix
Bajaria is the Chief Content Officer of Netflix. She previously served as Head of Global TV, leading the teams for all of television and is responsible for hit series including “Squid Game,” “Stranger Things” and “Wednesday.” Bajaria joined Netflix in November 2016 to oversee the company’s push into unscripted programming and some scripted originals such as the hit series “Never Have I Ever” and “YOU.” Previously, Bajaria was president of Universal Television, where she made history as the first woman of color to oversee a studio. Bajaria has been honored by the “I Have a Dream” Foundation of L.A. and received the Industry Leadership Award from the L.A. Indian Film Festival. She serves on the LA Board of Governors for the Paley Center and as vice president of the fundraising board of L.A.’s Saban Community Clinic. She also served on the Board of Trustees for Meridian International Center, a Washington, D.C. nonprofit.
