Founder, Chief Executive, Starburst Aerospace
Chopard founded Starburst Aerospace in 2012 in El Segundo. Starburst is an aerospace management consultancy and the first global accelerator designed to guide aerospace startups from ideation to growth. Among the companies in its portfolio are Ampaire, a Hawthorne firm that is making zero emission aircraft; Odys Aviation, a sustainable aircraft company building hybrid-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft based in Long Beach; and Cluster, a Los platform that matches engineers with hardware companies looking to hire. In 2022, Chopard launched Starburst Ventures, an independent venture capital fund exclusively dedicated to investing across aviation, space and defense.
