Los Angeles Partner in Charge; Executive Committee Chair, Davis Wright Tremaine LLP
Employment litigator Echavarria has kept busy since assuming the role as office managing partner of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP’s downtown outpost. In 2023, he expanded the L.A. operation to also include a Culver City office and was also tabbed as executive chair of the Seattle-based firm. This year, he is leading the committee in selecting the firm’s new managing partner. Under Echavarria’s stewardship, the Davis Wright Tremaine has become one of the largest legal operations in Los Angeles County, with 118 attorneys across the two offices on staff here. Before joining the firm, Echavarria was in-house litigation counsel for NBC Universal and worked as a litigator for Morrison & Foerster.
