Chopra is co-chair of litigation at downtown-based O’Melveny & Myers and heads up the college and universities industry group. Previously co-chair of labor and employment, Chopra’s client base includes companies fighting allegations of misconduct by their employees. Her past clients include Century 21, Coldwell Banker, HBO and DIRECTV. As head of the firm’s colleges and universities group, higher education institutions also hire Chopra for Title IX and Clery Act investigations. She has been recognized by the publication Best Lawyers every year since 2010.
What’s the best advice you ever got? ‘Better to die on your feet than to live on your knees’ – this quote and advice is a powerful reminder that nothing is worth doing unless you do it with authenticity, character and integrity.
What’s your favorite movie, all time and in any category? “Thelma and Louise.”
What’s at the top of your bucket list? Seeing the Aurora Borealis.
What was your first car? A 20-year-old Maverick that featured more rust than paint, but I loved it.
