Reddy, a cardiologist, founded Prime Healthcare in 2001 with a mission to buy distressed hospitals and transform them into community assets. The company has grown to 44 hospitals and more than 300 outpatient centers in 14 states, becoming the fifth-largest for-profit health system in the nation. It provides more than $12 billion in charity care. In Los Angeles County, Prime Healthcare operates five hospitals. Reddy also founded the California University of Science and Medicine, a medical school in Colton.

From Hippocrates: “Whenever the art of medicine is loved, there is also a love of humanity.”
What’s your favorite movie, all time and in any category?
“The Godfather” – because of family values, not the violence.

To see my grandchildren go to college.
