President, Chief Executive, Molina Healthcare Inc.
Zubretsky took over as Molina Healthcare’s chief executive in November 2017. Molina’s focus is on government-run health care insurance programs, including Medicare, Medicaid and state-run Obamacare exchanges. Last year, Molina was L.A. County’s second largest publicly-traded company by revenue, at $34 billion. During his tenure, Zubrestky has put more focus on retaining and winning contracts; in summer of 2022, Molina scored a coup with a net gain of about 1 million members through California’s Medicaid contract rebidding process. Zubretsky has also focused on strategic acquisitions. Prior to Molina, Zubretsky served as president and CEO for Hanover Insurance Group.
