Partner, Senior Principal, Studio One Eleven
Bohn’s mission as a partner at Studio One Eleven has been taking an integrated approach to architecture, landscape and urban design in restoring communities. His portfolio includes transit-oriented developments, housing, mixed-use projects, student housing and adaptive reuse, among other areas. He has helped pioneer the firm’s modular approach to designing and building affordable housing projects, a technique exemplified by the 25-unit Watts Works Affordable Modular Housing project. He’s been especially active in Studio One Eleven’s home town of Long Beach, where his projects include an office-to-housing conversion project at 200 Ocean, the Long Beach Senior Arts Colony and the Partake Community Kitchens project. Down the coast in Newport Beach, Bohn designed the revitalization of that city’s Fun Zone. Bohn has also established a landscape practice with a focus on bringing nature into cities.
