Roth leads the Goldhirsh Foundation, a $70 million foundation that supports companies working on social innovation. Roth spearheads the foundation’s LA2050 program, a $1 million crowd-sourced program in which Angelenos can vote annually to award grants to proposals aimed at improving the city. Last year, the program accepted 615 applications for grants, resulting in five proposals receiving financing from the foundation. Roth has helped the foundation and LA2050 develop partnerships with organizations including the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, the Snap Foundation, LAist 89.3 (KPCC), the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, and the Annenberg Foundation.
